Mabu Mabu is on a mission to put Indigenous ingredients in kitchens across Australia

Mabu Mabu is a Torres Strait owned business, passionate about getting Indigenous ingredients into kitchens across Australia.

Mabu Mabu's range of pantry items is titled ‘Kara Meta.’ In the language of the Meriam People of Mer Island in the Torres Strait, this means ‘my home.’

Mabu Mabu's small batch teas, spices, and sauces with Indigenous and tropical flavours are all made by hand and sourced from suppliers who are passionate about Australia's Indigenous food industry.

The Wattleseed Hot Chocolate is incredibly popular amongst the Hey Good Thing community, I think not only because it looks awesome - who doesn't love a magenta label?! - but because you love supporting Indigenous owned businesses. I'm so pleased to add their new Blak Mint tea to Hey Good Thing's range of gift boxes. It's a native peppermint gum and river mint, blended with the smooth, slightly earthy aroma of organic rooibos. Yum! You'll find it soon so keep an eye on socials.

Mabu Mabu sauces, herbs, spices and drink mixes are stunning, and make the perfect gift. Join Mabu Mabu in celebrating the diversity and flavour of Indigenous Australian foods by choosing from a range of Hey Good Thing gift boxes.
